Modelling

With my Midlands Strobist group from Flickr, we all went on last Sunday to Charlie's fab studio in a magnificent 1920 building, which is today still a working factory but quite restructured in terms of resources. The rooms, staircases, production ambience, are all the original feature as they were during the 'golden years' of big success of the company, converted recently, but without a massive remake, in an inspiring, endless art photographic studio.
A mix of photographers (alias "togs") and models (alias "mua"), we met united by the same interest to have an enjoyable day of shooting. From one side, to experience the modelling art of fashion, glamour and boudoir/semi-nude photography styles, from the other, building and empowering the existing professional portfolio. An interest always fed by a basic friendship relationship, which helps enormously, especially photographers, to get out from that isolation tipycal of our job.
I'm very happy and excited of the shooting day and look forward to send through some images to the MUA to see what they think about it.
I will then soon publish some work done, either on this blog and on my Flickr photostream.
So, if you are interested in my works, keep an eye on both!
